The PK movie make me think deeply regarding our religious belief and customs we are following and meaning and purpose behind each. Im really surprised and wonder about out rich values and structured way of living we practiced over 100 centuries. But now how foolishly we are refusing them and just as a trend advocate all those and laugh on it to prove we are more educated and believe only in scientific proofs.
We accept and praises Galileo for his scientific revolution during the period where people believed 'Earth was the center of Universe'. Im telling it happened during the mid of 15th century. But we Indians following the Navagraha pooja and built the temple even before 10th century and following it.
See the wonder our people created, during those old days no telescope or nothing... but they found it and structured it, even placed Sun as a center piece. There are various positions of other 8 grahas placed in diff temples, each call as a kattu, surya kattu, agastiyar kattu, etc....In each kattu, the formation will be diff but the position of the Sun never change. Need research on this kattus, why they placed it and the reason behind it.
Also the main wonder is the colors designated to each grahas... For Mars, the dress color is Red... And we know Mars is a red planet.
Instead of just making fun on the religious believes, people like Rajkumar Irani, making fun and money by simple questions on Indian's cultural and religious beliefs. Instead make one good movie to appreciate our rich values.
In other countries, even in US recognized universities having degree courses in Greek Mythology to study about the Greek gods and the values behind the customs they followed and following. The whole Vatican city studying about the Biblical values. And Israelite having deep belief in their Jewish Mythology. But why most of Indian are always criticizing our own countries mythology and thinking the disbelief and criticizing as a style statement.
